CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Support CPA's capital campaign, Building a Center for Grassroots Leadership!

CPA has reached a new stage of growth and influence.  Our leadership development programs have expanded in breadth, and our capacity to influence decision-making through sustained coalition-building has increased.  But this potential can only be realized with adequate infrastructure.

This is why CPA has seized a critical moment to establish a permanent home and organizing center at the Metropolitan on Parcel C. This rare opportunity is a direct result of CPA's leadership role in fighting to preserve Parcel C, a piece of land slated for construction of a hospital parking garage at the center of the residential neighborhood.

Here are some benefits of our new 3,241 square-foot commercial condo space.

  • A small gallery for community art, inspiration, and oral history
  • Two classrooms to expand our English/Citizenship program
  • Comfortable space for year-round youth involvement
  • A neighborhood location from which to anchor the Campaign to Protect Chinatown and build grassroots political clout citywide
  • Work space for immigrant worker education
  • A chance to upgrade our technology
  • Wheelchair and stroller accessible

CPA is working to complete our $1.5 million capital campaign and celebrate our Grand Opening totally debt-free.  Our campaign is 99% complete!  If you can contribute to help us complete the campaign, please call (617) 259-1503 or email justice@cpaboston.org.  Checks can be made out to CPA Capital Fund and mailed to CPA, 28 Ash Street, Boston, MA 02111.

On-line donations can be made through www.catalogueforphilanthropy.org, click on this link and use the search engine to find the Chinese Progressive Association from past catalogues.

We also accept stock transfer gifts.
